Transitions Resale Store is a retail clothing store located in Lincoln Square Village in Urbana, Illinois. Our store is the home of the Vocational Training Program for The Center for Women in Transition.
- Training Program: Individuals who participate in this program receive training on customer service, retail sales, merchandising, inventory control, resume writing, and interviewing techniques. Transitions staff works with each individual’s specific needs. Eligible participants include residents of The Center and individuals on parole, probation, or with a prior conviction who are aged 18 years and older.
- Clothing Help: Residents of The Center for Women in Transition receive clothing vouchers to shop at Transitions Resale Store for their daily clothing needs or for business clothes for interviews at no cost.
